We are proud of our

Since the inception of the Blue Boot Foundation we have strived for community involvement and implementing life saving measures whenever possible. We have deployed our Life Ring Program and our Community Life Jacket Program on the beaches of Grand Isle, Louisiana. So far the program has been extremely effective and has helped save lives.

Life Ring & Throw Bag

We have installed over 80 life saving rings and throw bags with 100ft of rope along the beaches in Grand Isle. There have been numerous reports of people using these life rings to save people from the rip currents that have taken many lives over the years

Swimmer saved thanks to life rings purchased by Blue Boot Foundation

In starting the Blue Boot Rodeo and Foundation, Darby and Nicole Bourgeois said it would all be worth if if they could save just one life from the dangers of drowning.

Another day, another miracle: Life rings save another struggling island swimmer

It happened again. For the third time in two weeks, a struggling swimmer's life was saved thanks to new life rings placed on the beach by the Blue Boot Foundation.

Community Life Jackets

Since everyone does not have a life jacket, we have placed a rack full of life jackets at the Grand Isle State park for people to use while visiting the beaches. These life jackets can be taken and returned freely throughout the year. If one ends up missing we quickly replace it

We visited Grand Isle and forgot a life jacket for our son. We couldn't believe they had some loaner life jackets right as we entered the beach. Amazing!
